So, A little about me huh? Well I was raised in a very loving family. Both my parents, my older brother, and the hairy child that listens (The family dog). I experimented with make-up as a teenager but never really saw a future in it. Considering I was from a small town where the oilfield was turning in most of the profits, Make-up Artists were practically non-existant. I sold Mary Kay and decided I wasn’t really in the market to sell, I was in the market to create. Then I moved to Edmonton. It started out with my classmates in college commenting on how they liked my make-up, then it went to me doing |
make-up for some of my friends/classmates when we went out to a club or event, and watching all the gurus on youtube do tutorials of make-up. My friend Krisz made a comment of “Why do you not do this professionally? You have the skills, you have the supplies and the talent Why not go to school?” So with that, I decided to take her advice and go to school.
So with the help of my family, Krisz, and anyone who has ever lent me their face, I went to Eveline Charles Academy to get a cetificate in Make-Up Artistry. I have my certificate and have been going going going eversince.
I am building up clientele and a reference base. I have now done film (Just a independant short really), Minor Special Effects, Fashion Shows, Magazine (pictures still to be printed), E-zine (Pictures yet to go online, Weddings, club promotions, halloween, fantasy Make-up, Grad Make-up and SO MUCH MORE!
